West Business Development Center, Mendocino, CA
- Developed financial education webinars for entrepreneurs in Mendocino County on how to plan spending, grow savings, be a good borrower, and improve credit. Presented the English version of the webinar, which was also translated into Spanish.
Mendocino Coast Health Care District, Fort Bragg, CA
- Facilitated a full-day planning retreat for the the Board of Directors. Worked closely with a planning committee to design educational content and engaging activities that were tailored to the group’s specific challenges.
San Francisco Department of Aging and Adult Services, San Francisco CA
- Partnered with the Longmore Institute to facilitate an 11-month planning process for the City of San Francisco’s Department of Disability and Adult Services to assess the needs and desires of local people with disabilities and provide a road map for how the city will choose partners and develop programming for the nation’s first city-run center devoted to disability culture.
- Field research included city-wide consumer survey and focus groups in multiple languages, and with accommodations for various disabilities.

The Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability at San Francisco State University, San Francisco CA
- Conducted stakeholder interviews to produce a thorough needs assessment report.
- Facilitated the organization’s first strategic planning process, which included the creation of a thorough background report, and collaborative planning with Advisory Council members.
- Conducted a six-month review to assess the plan’s early success and make necessary adjustments.
Side by Side for Youth, San Anselmo, CA
- Facilitated strategic planning for this Bay Area organization that provides early intervention and holistic mental health services for at-risk youth at a time it was going through a transition of its long-serving Executive Director. Used the Sustainability Matrix Map framework to assess and visualize the impact of its various programs relative to their cost.
United Way of the Bay Area, San Francisco CA
- Updated the organization’s Financial Coaching 101 curriculum and served as trainer for SparkPoint Financial Coaches from throughout the Bay Area.
Church Divinity School of the Pacific, Berkeley CA
- Served as Interim Director of Advancement and established new systems and processes.
- Developed a marketing system and plans for the seminary’s Easton Hall guest rooms and conference center.

- Conducted an organizational needs assessment, including staff and management focus groups, to identify ways to strengthen staff cohesion, create new communication channels, and build unified organizational identity .
Friends of Ruwenzori Foundation, Orinda, CA
- Facilitated a strategic planning process to grow the organization’s revenue, strengthen the relationship with its Ugandan service partner, and prepare for leadership transition.
The Grateful Garment Project, San Jose CA
- Guided the planning of annual board retreats and served as facilitator.
- Led the organization’s first-ever fundraising and communications planning process.
